Undergraduate - First Cycle Studies

First cycle study programs are intended for secondary education graduates. Prospective candidates are expected to have passed the Polish Maturity Exam (egzamin maturalny) or its equivalent, such as the International Baccalaureate or European Baccalaureate. Alternatively, a valid diploma certifying the completion of secondary education may serve as a basis for enrollment provided that it meets the standards established by the UW admissions authority. The duration of the studies is six semesters.


Postgraduate - Second Cycle Studies

These studies are intended for candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate studies having attained a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent thereof. The duration of the studies is four semesters.


Doctoral Studies

Graduates with a master’s degree obtained from a higher education institution of a general academic profile can enroll in the Faculty of Modern Languages doctoral studies program. The cycle consists of 8 semesters and in order to graduate doctoral students have to obtain at least 59 ECTS points.
